When the Soviet Union fell in the early nineties there were many missionaries who came blessed the nation by planting many churches and spreading the Gospel of Christ. However, many of these new churches and new believers never got any long-term or continued discipleship, and now there is much need for sound biblical teaching and consistent calling of the church to the spheres of society. We want to equip young people to go out from Ukraine to share the Gospel, no longer on the receiving end of ‘missions’. One way we can do this is coming along side the Church and showing them how to study the bible and make bible study a skill for the whole church and not just the pastor. We now live in Мукачево (Mukachevo) which is far-west of the Ukraine, with a population of modestly around approx. ~ 90,000. This is a city full of life, there are buses, taxis, a castle, art galleries, and festivals, and life is fairly slow paced.

Tetyana is from Mukachevo, in the beautiful foothills of the Carpati mountains! We enjoy the city life and all the wonderful people we work with.
