| We’ve seen such goodness from God, and are grateful for what Chosen Generation has done in Ukraine & beyond. We continue to serve in full capacity in Ukraine, yet as we are displaced in Tennessee this obviously looks different. Additionally, this year has been more global! |
Brazil: Come to the Table (Luke 24)
We just got back from a missions trip to Fortaleza, Brazil. It was an incredible time where we organized and led a conference for over 50 missionaries working full time in the sphere of Family Ministries. Tetyana led many of the conference sessions and Daniel got to teach on Isaiah in the conference and preach at a local church (pictures below). On the last day of the conference, we hosted 32 pastors and their wives (from Baptist to Pentecostal, conservative to charismatic), all with a desire for healthy families in their churches. What an honour to be able to equip and bring resources to them.
During this time we were also prayed over and appointed to be part of the core leadership team for Family Ministries International. We are humbled and honoured.
| Camilla in Washington D.C. A select group of sixth graders including our Camilla went to Washington, D.C., as part of a youth summit led by Wired Human to discuss digital citizenship, safety, and accountability with representatives from the House, Senate, and White House. This trip left us nothing short of amazed by our daughter. The 9 sixth graders sat at the same table as some of the most powerful people in our country, where they presented themselves confidently as leaders eager to uniquely shape the world. Over two days, Camilla & the other students met with three Senators, four members of the House, and six people on the White House Interagency Task Force for Online Safety. They also visited more than 20 Senate and House offices where students engaged staffers working on these issues, and attended a Congressional roundtable in the Senate meeting rooms. Camilla is a servant hearted leader, able to jump in with acts of service – one week (washing dishes in Brazil) to standing in front of our nation’s leaders and advocating for legislation. We are so proud. |
| What’s next? Our next few months will be busy. Here is a short itinerary: Look for our next email as we will share with you about an opportunity to give specifically to Renewal: a new family ministries opportunity for veterans and their families. Pray as Tetyana completes her citizenship process this winter/spring. Daniel travels to help the finish of the graduate program he is leading in Switzerland as College Faculty. In our next update we will share about our Year-End Giving goals and needs. Pray with us as we are grieving the loss of 2 soldiers we personally knew. We’ve been very encouraged by Isaiah 58:11-12
11 And the Lord will guide you continually
and satisfy your desire in scorched places
and make your bones strong;
and you shall be like a watered garden,
like a spring of water,
whose waters do not fail.
12 And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt;
you shall raise up the foundations of many generations;
you shall be called the repairer of the breach,
the restorer of streets to dwell in.
