MISSIONS TRAINING
Ministry Plans & Goals: What God has been equipping us for while in Norway, how we plan to grow the work we do in Ukraine, and beyond.
Preparation for marriage: This summer we are planning to have 2 couples from our church to go through pre-marriage counseling with us.
Family Course: We started to plan our next Marriage Courses, that we will run this fall. This year we will be running 2 marriage courses! By working with families we see and know that there will be less orphans in Ukraine.
Bible Teaching: Daniel is going to teach the book of Galatians in a Kyiv Seminary, in September. And in October Daniel will teach couple of more books from the Bible (Ecclesiastes, & Job) in a University in Norway, a School of Biblical Studies.
Discipleship Training: This week we had an initial meeting for our next Discipleship Training School that our family will lead and direct. The school starts January 2019 and finishes in June 2019. Equipping Missionaries in Ukraine to reach the Nations.
Our joy to share; in Norway, we got to examine very relevant topics, our dissertation papers, which have become teachings we will already use in Ukraine. Tetyana’s research work was in Marriage Preparation (we’ve been asked often to do pre-marriage counseling in Ukraine, and already have some lined up for this year…) Daniel did his research on Grief Recovery and Grieving Together as a couple (grief is a foreign concept in Ukraine and very relevant with the War, and families within the church also have nothing for support yet…)

FMS Graduation Norway 2018
Graduating with University Degrees. This is such an exciting season. There is no date yet for the ceremony, we have through the University of the Nations enough credits for our degrees; AA in Family Ministries (Tetyana) AA in Christian Ministries (Daniel) 👩🏻🎓🗞👨🏼🎓🗞
Finances: we have 70 % of our monthly goal for our family to thrive, grow, and minister full time in Ukraine. This means that we continue to raise funds for local projects & teaching invitations. Goals would be to have enough funding that we are able to buy a home and vehicle.
Family news:
After we got back from Norway we started the process of enrolling Camilla into grammar school. It took us some hours & days to go from office to office, some doctors & check ups… & finally after all that, she is accepted into an excellent Gymnasium! 1st of September she will start her new adventures! First grade!!! We saw God opening the doors for us to get Camilla in her school, from residency documents, to conversations & appointments with the important directors.
Personal Story:
June 15 (Daniel’s Birthday) we hosted a picnic for a graduates from the Zhmerinka Orphanage! We have been going & investing in these kids for already 6 years. We are honored to see them grown up & help them dream about their future. We know that God has wonderful plans for them in this world, let us keep them in our prayers. We & you through your support & our team, continue to keep influencing them & are here for these teenagers as they go to college and trade schools in the region. It is amazing to see the impact of long term orphan care.
