Eastern Ukraine Aid
One difficult thing in a place of inconsistent water and electricity, like you will find in Eastern Ukraine these days, is the ability to keep clean and get warm. One project of the Eastern Ukraine Aid initiative hopes to help with this problem. We are going to repurpose a travel trailer into a mobile sauna (known as “banya” in Eastern Europe).
For Ukrainians, the banya process is a very important part of culture and health. Not only is it a time to relax and fellowship, it is good for circulation, detoxification, and “bathing” where there is no running water available.
This trailer would be built and taken to the east to serve refugees and locals as well as soldiers who are living in very primitive conditions.
